President & CEO
Donnie is the third-generation President and Owner of Puryear Tank Lines, carrying forward a proud family legacy of excellence in bulk hazardous materials transportation. He studied at the University of Mississippi before earning his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
Having grown up in the business, Donnie gained hands-on experience in many roles within the company, giving him a deep understanding of both the operational and strategic aspects of the business. Outside of work, Donnie enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and spending time at the coast.
Chief Financial Officer
John serves as Chief Financial Officer of Puryear Tank Lines, bringing extensive expertise in corporate finance and accounting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree, an MBA, and is a licensed CPA as well as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Before joining Puryear Tank Lines, John held senior leadership roles as both a Director of Finance and a Global Controller, where he developed a strong track record of guiding companies through growth and financial strategy. His deep accounting background and broad experience make him an essential leader in supporting the company’s long-term success. Outside of work, John enjoys attending concerts, relaxing at the beach, and following professional baseball and football.
Operations Manager
Mike brings extensive hands-on experience to his role as Operations Manager at Puryear Tank Lines. With a strong background in transportation, he has done it all—including driving trucks, managing drivers, overseeing fleet maintenance, and securing new business opportunities. His broad skill set and industry knowledge make him an invaluable leader in keeping daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Mike oversees the day-to-day operations within the company, ensuring both employee satisfaction and exceptional service for our customers. Outside of work, Mike is an avid outdoorsman with a passion for both hunting and fishing. He also values time at the beach, family ski trips to the mountains, and following collegiate sports—especially attending local games.
Director of Human Resources, Safety & Compliance
Nati leads Human Resources, Safety, and Compliance at Puryear Tank Lines, bringing a unique blend of creativity, leadership, and people-first focus. With a background in both operations and HR, she has developed a strong foundation in employee engagement, organizational culture, and problem-solving.
Her passion for HR and Safety stems from a desire to make a positive impact by implementing effective solutions in the ever-changing world of trucking compliance. Known as an approachable and compassionate resource, Nati takes pride in fostering strong relationships, addressing employee needs, and creating positive, safe work environments across the company.
